Rachel Blok has lived in Costa Rica and Equatorial Guinea, eventually settling in Windsor, Ontario, Canada in 1998.  She studied English and Creative Writing at the University of Windsor, graduating with Honours in 2002.  She has since gone on to read lots of books, watch lots of movies, and spend lots of time indoors on lovely sunny days.  She has been surrounded by information, in a variety of formats, since 1999 when she began her tenure at the Windsor Public Library.  Remarkably little of that information has sunk in.  She is currently employed in the literacy department, helping to improve the reading skills of adults and children.  Rachel’s formidable nit-picking skills have proved useful in the freelance editing work she does on the side.
